1" Blind Flange PVC Schedule 80 (853-010)

The 853-010 is a 1" PVC Schedule 80 blind flange — a solid, unbored flange plate designed to cap or blank off the end of a flanged PVC pipeline, valve, or equipment nozzle. Unlike a standard flange, the blind flange has no center bore or pipe connection — the face is completely solid, creating a permanent or temporary pressure-rated termination at any mating 1" ANSI/ASME B16.5 Class 150 flanged connection when bolted down with a flat face gasket and standard bolt pattern.

Manufactured from rigid, dark gray PVC compound conforming to ASTM D1784 cell classification requirements, the Schedule 80 construction provides the mechanical strength and wall thickness required to withstand bolt-up clamping forces and full system pressure at the closed end of a flanged assembly.
