3/4" Flange (Solid Style), Slip PVC Schedule 80 (851-007)

The 851-007 is a Schedule 80 PVC solid style flange with a 3/4-inch slip (socket) connection. Unlike loose ring or Van Stone flange designs, the 851-007 is a one-piece fitting — the bolt ring is fixed and integral to the flange body rather than rotating freely around a separate stub. The socket end solvent cements directly onto the outside diameter of standard 3/4" Schedule 40 or Schedule 80 PVC pipe, creating a permanent, pressure-rated flanged termination point that mates to any standard 150 lb ANSI flat-face flanged valve, pump port, equipment connection, or mating PVC flange.

The solid style design provides a more compact, rigid assembly than loose ring alternatives and is well suited to permanent installations where bolt hole alignment can be established during initial layout and the pipeline does not need to be repositioned after cementing. For installations where future bolt hole alignment adjustments may be needed, the 856-series loose ring flange is the appropriate alternative. As with all PVC flat-face flanges, assemble with a full-face rubber gasket and stainless steel or non-metallic bolts, and torque in a cross pattern to the manufacturer's recommended specification — do not use raised-face steel flanges directly against PVC flat faces, as uneven clamping load can crack the flange face.

Manufactured from heavy-wall Schedule 80 PVC, the 851-007 is suited for industrial, chemical, and process piping where flanged connections are required for equipment compatibility or future line disassembly. The dark gray color is standard for Schedule 80 PVC. Apply a medium-bodied PVC primer and standard-bodied PVC cement per ASTM D2564 to both the pipe OD and socket interior before installation.
