The loose ring design features a free-rotating outer ring that turns independently around the flange hub, allowing bolt holes to be aligned to a mating flange, valve, pump, or equipment face without rotating the pipe or the solvent-cemented hub assembly — a critical advantage in confined mechanical spaces or on long pipe runs where post-cement pipe rotation is not feasible.
