The 807-012 is a Schedule 80 PVC 90-degree elbow with a 1-1/4-inch slip (socket) inlet and a 1-1/4-inch female pipe thread (FPT) outlet. The socket end solvent cements onto standard 1-1/4" Schedule 40 or Schedule 80 PVC pipe, while the FPT outlet receives a 1-1/4" male-threaded fitting, valve, pump port, or instrument connection. This slip-to-FPT configuration makes the 807-012 the practical choice wherever a cemented Schedule 80 piping run must turn 90 degrees and simultaneously transition to a threaded interface — combining two installation functions in a single fitting and eliminating the need for a separate inline adapter at the direction change.

The mixed connection design is especially well suited to equipment terminations, panel penetrations, and service access points where the upstream pipeline is a permanent cemented run but the terminal connection must be threaded for future disassembly, equipment replacement, or maintenance access. The FPT outlet allows a valve, union tail, or threaded adapter to be removed and reinstalled independently without disturbing the cemented elbow or the upstream pipe run — a meaningful serviceability advantage in industrial and chemical installations where periodic access is a design requirement.

Manufactured from heavy-wall Schedule 80 PVC, the 807-012 delivers greater wall thickness and mechanical strength than Schedule 40 equivalents, making it appropriate for industrial, chemical, and elevated-pressure service environments. The dark gray color is standard for Schedule 80 PVC and provides immediate visual identification in mixed-schedule installations. Apply a medium-bodied PVC primer and standard-bodied PVC cement per ASTM D2564 to the socket end; apply PTFE thread tape or an approved pipe thread sealant to any male-threaded fitting before engaging the FPT outlet. Do not overtighten threaded connections, as PVC threads can crack under excessive torque.
