The flush style profile is the defining characteristic that distinguishes this bushing from a hex bushing in the same size combination. Rather than presenting a protruding hex shoulder that extends beyond the fitting face and requires a wrench for installation, the flush bushing presents a smooth, low-profile outer surface that seats cleanly within the receiving fitting's socket without added bulk, mechanical projection, or gripping-surface interference.
