Bushing, Spigot x Socket PVC Schedule 40 6" x 1" (437-525)

The 437-525 is a PVC Schedule 40 reducing bushing with a spigot (male) inlet and socket (female) outlet, reducing from a 6" line down to a 1" branch or outlet. The spigot end inserts directly into any standard 6" Schedule 40 socket fitting or pipe hub, creating a clean, solvent-welded reduction without the need for an additional adapter or coupling.

Manufactured from rigid PVC compound conforming to ASTM D1784 cell classification requirements, this bushing is joined using standard PVC solvent cement and primer per ASTM D2564. The Schedule 40 wall construction delivers pressure-rated performance for both pressure and gravity-flow piping systems, and the all-PVC material provides excellent resistance to corrosion, chemicals, and biological growth.

The 437-525 is well suited for distribution manifolds, pump stations, irrigation mainlines, and industrial process piping where a large-diameter line must be reduced to a 1" service or branch connection.
