The 10" PVC Schedule 40 Cap (Slip) is a large-diameter thermoplastic end cap designed to permanently seal the open end of a 10-inch Schedule 40 PVC pipe. The single slip socket accepts standard Schedule 40 PVC pipe and installs via solvent cement, producing a sealed, pressure-tight termination that is structurally integral with the pipe run and requires no hardware, gaskets, or mechanical fasteners.

At 10 inches, this cap is most frequently specified in municipal water distribution, large-scale irrigation mains, industrial process lines, stormwater infrastructure, and large commercial drainage systems — applications where the pipe diameter and system investment make a reliable, permanent termination a genuine engineering requirement rather than an afterthought. A solvent-welded cap at this scale provides a termination point that is as structurally sound and pressure-rated as any other joint in the system. There is no risk of the cap backing off under operating pressure, no gasket to degrade over time, and no hardware to corrode or loosen in buried or exposed service conditions.
