The single slip socket end accepts standard 1-1/4" PVC pipe or a spigot end fitting for solvent cement joining, producing a sealed, pressure-rated termination point that becomes a continuous, integral part of the piping system once cured.

The slip cap is the definitive permanent closure in a PVC piping system. Unlike a threaded FPT cap — which threads onto a male-threaded end and can be removed for future access — the solvent-cemented slip cap forms a fused, monolithic joint with the pipe or fitting it closes. Once installed and cured, the cap cannot be removed without cutting into the line.
