This 3/4" Schedule 80 PVC Spigot Plug provides a permanent, solvent-cement closure for any standard 3/4" socket-end fitting hub — including tee branch outlets, cross ports, coupling ends, and valve bodies — in industrial, chemical, and commercial PVC piping systems requiring Schedule 80 pressure ratings. Constructed in dark gray Schedule 80 PVC, it delivers the elevated wall thickness and pressure capacity required in demanding installations where standard Schedule 40 closure fittings are insufficient and where an unused socket port must be sealed definitively and flush with the surrounding fitting body.

The spigot (male plain end) is sized to insert directly into the hub of any standard 3/4" socket-end fitting and is solvent-cemented in place to form a permanent, leak-free closure at the joint face. Unlike a threaded plug, which can be removed and reinstalled, a solvent-cemented spigot plug creates a permanent bond — making it the appropriate choice when an unused port is being closed out for the life of the system rather than temporarily blocked for future service. Allow adequate cure time before pressurizing the system, and derate pressure ratings for elevated temperatures per published derating curves.
