Manufactured from rigid white PVC, this reducing tee is designed for the small-bore piping, instrumentation, and specialty fluid handling applications where a 1/2" main line must feed or be tapped by a 1/4" branch connection without the added complexity of a separate reducing bushing installed in a standard tee branch.

All three ends accept PVC pipe via solvent cement. The two run ends receive standard 1/2" PVC pipe on each side of the tee, maintaining the 1/2" flow path through the run. The branch outlet accepts 1/4" PVC pipe, providing a reduced takeoff sized for low-flow auxiliary connections, instrumentation lines, sample ports, chemical injection points, and small-diameter service branches where a full 1/2" branch outlet would be oversized for the application.
