This 3/4" × 1/2" Schedule 40 PVC Reducing Tee provides a solvent-cemented branch outlet off a 3/4" PVC main run, reducing down to a 1/2" branch connection in a single fitting. All three ends are slip sockets, accepting standard PVC pipe for solvent cement joining at the 3/4" run ports and the 1/2" branch outlet. The reducing configuration eliminates the need for a separate full-size tee plus a reducing bushing or coupling, simplifying the assembly and reducing potential leak points in the system.

For solvent cement installation, clean and dry all pipe ends and socket interiors before application. Apply a light coat of purple PVC primer to all mating surfaces, then apply a uniform coat of Schedule 40 PVC solvent cement to both the pipe end and socket interior before joining. Insert the pipe with a slight quarter-turn twist and hold firmly for 30 seconds to prevent pushback. Allow full cure time per the cement manufacturer's guidelines before pressurizing the system. Apply published pressure derating factors for service temperatures above 73°F.
