The 401-337 is a Schedule 40 PVC reducing tee with a 3" × 3" run and a 1-1/2" branch outlet, all three connections in slip (socket) configuration for solvent cement installation. This fitting is the go-to solution when a 3" PVC main line needs to branch flow into a 1-1/2" lateral — one of the most common reducing tee combinations in commercial plumbing, irrigation, and industrial process piping.
