The two run ends (slip x slip) accept standard Schedule 40 or Schedule 80 PVC pipe via solvent cement, creating permanent, pressure-rated joints integral to the pipe wall on both sides of the tee. The branch outlet is machined with a 4" FPT (female pipe thread) connection, accepting a 4" male-threaded fitting, valve, plug, cap, or instrument directly—without requiring a separate threaded adapter fitting at the branch. This hybrid connection configuration is particularly valuable when the main run is a solvent-weld system and the branch connection point needs to remain threaded for future serviceability, equipment attachment, or conversion to a different configuration.
