That single distinction is the defining value of the 802-015: the solvent-welded run ports create a permanent, leak-free mainline, while the full-size 1-1/2" FPT branch remains independently serviceable — accepting any standard 1-1/2" MPT fitting that can be installed, removed, or replaced without disturbing the cemented run. This makes the 802-015 the preferred tee wherever the branch connection must carry full mainline flow capacity and also needs to remain accessible for maintenance, isolation, reconfiguration, or seasonal service.
