The two 1" slip socket run ports accept standard PVC pipe for solvent cement joining along the through-run, while the 1/2" FPT branch outlet receives any compatible 1/2" male-threaded fitting, nipple, valve, or instrument connection without additional adapters.

The mixed slip-and-thread construction makes this tee particularly well suited for installations where the main run is solvent-welded PVC and the branch point requires a threaded takeoff — a common configuration at gauge ports, chemical injection points, sampling connections, drain taps, and threaded valve branches in process and commercial piping systems.
