Tee, Slip x Slip x FPT PVC Schedule 80 2" x 3/4" (802-248)

The 802-248 is a 2" x 3/4" PVC Schedule 80 reducing tee in a slip x slip x FPT configuration — two 2" solvent-weld slip sockets on the straight run and a 3/4" female-threaded (FPT) branch outlet at 90°. The slip ends accept 2" plain-end pipe for solvent welding to form the permanent main run, while the 3/4" FPT branch port receives any compatible male-threaded fitting, valve, gauge, or instrument connection without additional adapters.

This fitting combines three distinct functions in a single body: it maintains the full 2" main run without restriction, branches off at 90°, and steps the branch down to a 3/4" threaded port in one compact assembly. Without the 802-248, achieving the same result would require a full-size 2" slip tee, a reducing bushing at the branch, and a separate threaded adapter — three fittings stacked at a single junction point. Consolidating all three functions here reduces the number of potential leak points, simplifies the installation, and produces a substantially more compact assembly in tight mechanical or process spaces.

The 3/4" FPT branch is particularly well suited for instrument connections, pressure gauge ports, chemical injection points, small-bore valve takeoffs, and any other application where a small threaded branch is required off a larger solvent-weld main. The threaded branch also remains serviceable — the connected instrument, gauge, or valve can be removed and replaced without disturbing the solvent-welded main run on either side.

Built to Schedule 80 wall thickness standards from rigid PVC compound, the 802-248 carries the elevated pressure ratings required for demanding industrial and commercial service across all three ports. Like all Schedule 80 PVC fittings, it is fully resistant to corrosion, chemical attack, and biological fouling — with none of the weight, rust, or galvanic concerns associated with metal reducing tee fittings of equivalent pressure rating.
