All three ports accept standard 3" Schedule 40 or Schedule 80 PVC pipe or spigot-end fittings, making this a straightforward and versatile fitting for splitting flow, combining streams, or adding a branch connection to an existing 3" run.

Manufactured from rigid, high-impact PVC compound, the 401-030 is rated for continuous cold-water pressure service and conforms to ASTM D2466 dimensional standards throughout. For proper joint integrity, apply a medium-bodied PVC primer to both the pipe end and socket interior before solvent cementing with a standard-bodied Schedule 40 PVC cement per ASTM D2564. Allow adequate cure time before pressurizing the system, particularly in larger diameter assemblies or low-temperature conditions. The all-slip configuration produces permanent, leak-free joints suited to buried, concealed, or long-term service installations where threaded or mechanical connections are not required.
